We are now introducing Game evenings

That means on those evenings it is asked that all Qubes participate,

Game evenings will be on Wednesdays and Sundays

All have to say if they can or can't participate in advance, i will setup some times in our Calendar where you can let us know if we can count on seeing you there.

DDos Attacks using Getstatus in Q3 engines Thu Jan 26, 2012 12:09 pm
Hey all

You have all heard that our servers has been attacked very hard over the last 2 months.

short description of how

This bug is a known bug in the Q3 server engine software. Usually,
these are Call of Duty 2 or 4 game-servers or W:ET.

"So we're getting reports of DDoS attacks, where botnets will send
infostring queries to Q3 dedicated servers as fast as possible
with spoofed addresses. They send a small UDP packet, and the
server replies with a larger packet to the faked address. Multiply
this by however fast you can stuff UDP packets into the server's
incoming packet buffer per frame, times 7500+ public Q3 servers,
and you can really bring a victim to its knees with a serious flood
of unwanted packets.

Try the new Scriptmake I just added to forum, it is located in the Board Navigation box on left side

It gives you a chance to swift between different gamenicks, maybe just use it to change colours etc etc
